bahay kubo

naalala ko lang ang isang usapan namin ng aking clinical instructor noong student nurse pa ako. patuloy niya akong pinagsasabihan.

clarice: ma’am salamat sa mga sermon, medyo nagising na ako.

siya: bakit?! wala ka ba sa sarili mo kapag may ginagawa ka? ms. sarao, magaling ka. ‘wag mong sayangin ang talent na yan. you just have to do everything to make your parents proud.

clarice: ma’am, wala na akong parents.

siya: *tulala at hindi nakasagot.*

clarice: ma’am, pangarap ko lang naman ang magkaroon ng bahay kubo kung saan nandoon ang nanay at tatay ko. pero, hindi ata mabibili ng dollars ng nursing yun eh.

    @bobang pinay – hey there! i lost them when i was 9. dad died because of cancer, mom died a year after because of a clot in her brain. its ok, i am fine with these questions. answered that question a thousand times.

    i love reading your posts.source of encouragement i must say. just like you, i lost my mother, Sept 2008.We love our parents, don´t we? It really hurts now that they´re gone.
